爾時 世尊 而設偈言,

​

若以色見我 以音聲求我

​

是人行邪道 不能見如來

​​​

 

At that time, Shakyamuni Buddha said,

‘A person who tries to recognize me by external appearance or tries to find me by voice,

is him or her who goes along the stupid way so the person will never see me.’
